Bollywood, Bollywood, Very Very Bollywood. This is The Three Idiots with Nomnom Aamir Khan.
The rooftop of H.R. College. They had a lot of nice plants growing and a great place to eat.
Hey, I'm on my phone so I couldn't answer your message without it being posted. No I have not gone unfortunately! I was in school and didn't work for a year. I'm hoping to start a list of metal festivals and start going!sink-the-dynasty
Cool! Metal Days is a great one :D Hope you get there someday!
We had a great cultural lecture in Mumbai. One of the girls shyly asked how she did her hair, and this started a demonstration. Doesn’t require ties!
We were invited by our hosts to participate in a Hindi religious ceremony. They kindly said to pray to you own God, displaying Hinduism’s well-known ability to encorporate multiple faiths. It was touching, and I really got into chanting. I have never felt so clear-headed after a relgious ceremony before, like my brain had been de-gunked. This particular one was for Ganesh.
The evening of the second day we returned to the hotel and discovered our luggage had finally arrived. Euphoria commenced.
I find riding in taxis more terrifying than walking in India. You’ll notice here lanes are more like guidelines, and usually are one over whatever is marked. This is a two lane road physically divided from opposite traffic by a fence. It had at least three lanes of car traffic interwoven pedestrians and scooters.
Rajasthani cuisine. Eat like the Muslim warlords and wash it down with fermented curd milk for digestion. All the chutney!
I always imagine Schmidt from New Girl when I say that.
